In October 2027, Rockport Tours is heading into the heart of America's Halloween country, where the stories are older, the cemeteries are real, and names like the Headless Horseman and the Salem Witch Trials belong to the history of the place.

We'll begin in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley, following the legend of Washington Irving's Sleepy Hollow through the places that inspired it. Visit Irving's riverside home at Sunnyside, walk historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, explore grand old estates dressed for autumn, and experience the incredible Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze, where thousands of illuminated pumpkins transform the night into one of the country's great Halloween spectacles.

Then we're off to Boston, but we're not leaving the ghosts behind. We'll discover the darker stories of historic Beacon Hill, enjoy time around Quincy Market, and climb aboard the Ghosts & Gravestones Trolley for an entertaining journey through centuries of Boston history, mystery, and legend.

And finally, Salem. We'll explore the House of the Seven Gables, hear the stories behind the infamous witch trials, discover the true story of pirates and a shipwreck recovered off Cape Cod, and leave plenty of time to wander Salem during the most exciting time of the year. After dinner, we'll head back into the old city by candlelight for one final evening of graveyards, ghost stories, and nearly four centuries of New England history.

This isn't a theme-park version of Halloween. It's five days surrounded by the places, stories and legends that helped create the American Halloween tradition, mixed with spectacular fall scenery, historic homes, great food, and just enough things that go bump in the night.

Trips involving a ticketed event ar non-refundable. Reservations made within 30 days prior to departure require full payment.
