Imagine beginning your journey in the vibrant city of Vancouver, where you’ll meet your group leader and prepare for an unforgettable adventure. The next day, you’ll step aboard the magnificent Ovation of the Seas and set sail through Alaska’s breathtaking Inside Passage. As the ship glides past towering mountains and dense forests, you’ll feel the call of the wild all around you.
In Icy Strait Point, you’ll experience Alaska’s rich Native culture, perhaps watching a tribal dance show or spotting whales along the rugged coastline. Explore the quaint Tlingit village of Hoonah, a place where history and tradition come alive in every story.
Sitka welcomes you with its unique blend of Russian, Tlingit, and American heritage. Kayak alongside playful sea otters, fish for halibut, or wander Baranof Island’s trails, all while soaking in views that will stay with you forever.
Skagway takes you back to the days of the Klondike Gold Rush, where wooden boardwalks and colorful saloons evoke a bygone era. Perhaps you’ll ride the White Pass & Yukon Route railway into the mountains, or explore the town’s lively past through interactive exhibits and reenactments.
The awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier is a sight you’ll never forget. Watch as towering walls of ice calve into the sea, an event the Tlingit people call “White Thunder,” and feel the power of Alaska’s raw wilderness.
Upon arrival in Seward, a scenic drive winds through wild landscapes to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where you’ll meet rescued bears, bison, and moose. Later, you’ll have time to stroll Anchorage’s vibrant downtown before settling in for the night in the rustic charm of Talkeetna at the stunning Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
From Talkeetna, your journey continues deeper into Alaska’s heart. Take in the views of snowcapped peaks as you approach Denali National Park, where untamed beauty stretches as far as the eye can see. The Denali Natural History Tour takes you into the park’s vast wilderness—keep watch for moose, caribou, and grizzlies roaming free. Your adventure finishes with a glass-domed Wilderness Express train ride back to Anchorage, where the midnight sun illuminates your final evening in this extraordinary place.
