Tours, Inc. is a member of the ABA-American Bus Association, NTA-National Tour Association
and CLIA-Cruise Line International Association. Rockport Tours also
supports the
Rockport Chamber of Commerce and the Corpus Christi Convention and Visitors
Bureau. Kay and John Leyland are the owners.
Rockport Tours, Inc. is
located in Corpus Christi, Texas, on the Gulf
of Mexico. We chose the name Rockport Tours because we started in Rockport, a growing
"Winter Texan" town on nearby Aransas Bay. It all began with two tours to Monterrey,
Mexico in January 1992. When we moved our office to Corpus Christi from Rockport in 1996, we decided to keep the name of Rockport out of respect to the
good folks in Rockport who helped build and continue to support our company. A special "tip of the
hat" goes to the Rockport/Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
Kay
says that we provide "tours for people who thought they couldn't afford them."
As a result our travelers are the best people in the world. While we may not
be as big as some of the other tour companies, Kay and I have listened to you
and learned. You told us that quality at a affordable price is really
the most important thing to you.
Quality
means extra care and comfort and going that extra step. We take it
seriously. All of our tours are completely escorted for quality
control. That also means
value coupled with attentive, dependable and caring people.
It's this attention and love for what we do that makes every tour special.
