(January 1, 2008) The DHS (U.S. Department of Homeland
Security) and U.S. Border Patrol have announced that beginning January 31, 2008, everyone including children will be required to have either a WHTI compliant document such as a passport
or proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate plus a
government-issued photo ID
(driver's license) when
crossing the border by land or sea. Please note that
legislative changes may require a passport by summer 2009 or as early as
summer 2008.

all passengers planning to travel outside the United States
after January 31, 2008 to carry a passport. Fees for a first-time U.S. passport
application total $97 for adults and $82 for children under age 16.
Passport renewals are $67 each. Expedited passport service will
add $60 more per passport. For more info on getting a

Non U.S. citizens need to contact their country's consulate for travel
requirements.

entering the United States by motorcoach from Canada and Mexico in 2008 must have an original birth certificate plus a government issued photo
I.D. (usually a driver’s license) OR a valid Passport. If you do
not have the required identification at the time of departure, you will
be denied boarding. There will be no refunds. No exceptions.
