Whether you like the
smell of corndogs, sawdust, and farm animals or not, you won't want to
miss the biggest annual event in Texas! Take a look at Big Tex and
you'll agree. The State Fair of Texas is big! It features
historic Art Deco exhibit buildings, Auto shows, a gigantic Midway,
Natural History Museum, Science Place, and, of course, food!!!
And, for big kids with a green thumb there's the "Big Tex Garden
Railway", a collection of large-gauge model trains that chug past famous
Texas Landmarks, constructed from bark, leaves, sticks and other natural
materials.
