two-hour musical tribute to country music history from the 1920's to the
1980's. You’ll hear classics from Jim Reeves, Ray Price, George
Jones, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Bob Wills, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard,
Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, Bill Monroe, Ernest Tubb and other great
artists. The 10-member San Antonio Rose band includes world-class
musicians from Nashville, Branson, Austin, and San Antonio. It’s a
“must see” show!
The Aztec Theatre is featured in the
travel book"1,000 Places to See Before You Die". Built in 1926,
the theater
is the only surviving exotic-themed movie palace in Texas. The
building was completely renovated last year into an impressive
state-of-the-art performing venue. The Aztec Theater is listed on
the National Register of Historic Places.
